Guess I'm a party pooper, but I just can't make fun of our heros putting themselves in harms way for our sake.
I am a hard-working self-employed conservative Christian white male gun owner. How else can I tick you off today?

It's part of the enlistment oath: "I do solemnly swear to razz my brothers in uniform, especially the other branches."
Freedom doesn't come free. It is bought and paid for by the lives and blood of our men and women in uniform.

    And the 82d Airborne
Hooah!!! Airborne!!!! All the way....... Now that I am sadly retired from AD, I have many folks ask me why I would jump out of a perfectly good airplane. I reply with a reasonably straight face and say: "The Air Force doesn't have any of those."

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.

Had an Army Jumpmaster tell me once that he got $100 a month to jump out of airplanes, told him that was nice but I got $120 a month to drop him off then I go back to a cold beer and a warm bed.
oakchas and Chaplain Scott like this.

The Navy and the Air Force man the equipment; the Army and the Marines equip the man.
Chaplain Scott and msgt/ret like this.
The more good folks carry guns, the fewer shots the crazies can get off.
