    Surprises.

So I turned another year older now and can officially begin applying to police departments. You all may remember a few weeks ago when I complained that the Security Six with the six inch barrel I wanted at the gun shop had been sold out from under me in the time it took me to get the money for it. Well when I opened the present from my Mom today, I found that Security Six in the box along with a Savage 101-22 single shot, single action pistol. Pics will be forth coming as soon as I figure out how to download them to the computer.

The world is going to hell when your own mother commits subterfuge and buys a gun out from under you.Theres only one way to get even, your gonna have to take her to the gun range and then dinner

    Congrats on all of it!

Happy everything turned out. However, if that had happened to me, I'd have found another one somewhere and bought it, then if surprised like you were, I'd have had two! Gotta love your Mom!

Moms are a sneaky lot. Gotta keep a close eye on 'em.

Happy B-day Chris. Guns do make great gifts. My parents gave me guns for Christmas several years. For you to get the very one you wanted after you believed "someone else" got it is quite a coup. Your mom is quite good. Give her something extra special for Christmas this year. Good luck on your applications. Stay safe.

    Happy Birthday and many more.

I trust you told your Mom how much you loved her and how special she is ! Yes, she already know these things but it will make her feel better to actually hear you say it.
