    Wish me luck.

I retired a bit early at 63 last spring after 40 years in mechanical engineering, design, and management of same. I've just been scheduled for a face to face interview for a teaching position at a local technical college. It's what I've always dreamed of to be able to share all I've learned with those just starting out in their new careers. I did teach nights at a different school many years ago but family and work pressures forced me to pull back from that schedule. Wish me luck: Can't remember a job interview in my life that was more important to me. At 64 that's quite a statement.

I'll let you know how it went next week.
I carry to protect myself and my loved ones from the BG's. Not to solve societies problems. That said: if more carried the deterrent would only have a positive overall effect on those problems.

Best of luck to you! As a career test engineer, not far behind you, I have always enjoyed mentoring; not sure how I'd do in a classroom situation. Do let us know how you fared.

Hey, Good Luck, I really mean it. I had some retired trades guys who did the same thing as you want to that really changed my prospective on life at a time I could have gone either way.

    Good luck.

Good luck, I share your dream though I am 15 or 20 years behind you.

Good luck! And when (not if) you get there, teach 'em to listen to the guys on the line doin' the work.... We been working with "engineered" stuff all our working lives... and some of it is slowin' us down...
