It would be interesting to know who actually pulled off the crime of the century.... and if he survived the parachute jump.
It's one of those mysteries that some of us like to know ..... "the rest of the story".
I wouldn't base much on the fact he wore a tie. Back then, most people did dress up when flying. Shorts and flipflops were not in style.
After that kid found some of the money in the riverbank, my thought is he survived the jump but lost the money. Thus with no money and claim to fame, he simply walked away from it all.
i could sure use that tie now; it's hard enough to get a job now.
