IT'S OUR RIGHTS>THEY WANT TO WRONG

To think. I actually know people who want others to take Occupy people seriously.
After looking at this, I really know how wrong they are.

It's not hard to dismantle the Occupy purpose, or at least the purpose they claim (tax the uberwealthy).
1. They claim the problem is that the superwealthy do not pay a fair share of taxes. Their solution isn't to relieve taxes on the poor, but simply to raise taxes on the rich. We can basically stop right here because this demonstrates the idiocy of this movement. They're sold on the idea that our country is in financial trouble and that everything our government spends money on is necessary and can't be cut from the budget.
2. They're demanding that the government force the superwealthy to pay more taxes and, in the same breath, cry foul at how our government is corrupted and owned by the rich. Let's review that again: they're demanding that the puppets of the rich force their masters to pay more taxes. Yeah, that doesn't make much sense to me either.
3. So let's say they actually got their wish, that taxes are raised on the superwealthy. What happens to that money? Well, it gets handed over to a government that they've already agreed is corrupt and operating under the control of those same "rich folks". Nice work, gang. Do you think that money will go to education? Welfare? Public services? No, it's going to go into government contracts that only the big corporations are eligible to bid on because they're the only ones with the resources to do the work.
4. When you have a corrupt accountant, doesn't it seem prudent to fire him BEFORE trying to straighten out the books?

Whoa!!!! This country under the republicans have been handing the wealthy tax breaks and bail outs and have only asked one thing in return....create jobs and move the economy. What have they done? Nothing other then reap the free rewards of all their lobbying money and couldn't give a rats arse about the rest of the public in the US that they exploited that made them rich in the first place. Yeah, they are job creators....in country's other then our own!!
This is the country of the people and not the country of whoever can buy the right politician. This country is not run by the people...it is run by corporations and has been since Reagan's second term!
I wouldn't worry so much about your guns. They will always be there and no President will ever take them away. If you do worry about that, you have been listening to Rush, Sean, and Bill too long because history has shown that it will never happen....even in the liberal circles. Worry about the financial future of this country. Kids are graduating college and vets are returning from overseas to a country of no opportunity! People are mad about it and I don't blame them.
Since taxing the uber wealthy was mentioned...
Lets say that joe public makes $35k a year. Lets say he is taxed 25%. He pays $8750 in taxes
Lets say joe wealthy makes $1.5 million a year and is taxed only 10%. He pays $150,000.
I think Joe public needs to play catch up.
And this from a guy that has never made 6 figures in a year.

I am gonna go out on a limb here, but I think he might be unemployed.
A better question is;
Who pays their fair share?
Also, as a side note some posters have been dangerously close to political posting... one in particular. Be careful how you make your point

Actually the problem is more acute than that. If Joe Public makes $35K per year, with a normal family and a small house, he likely pays $0 in income taxes. A big part of the problem is that roughly half of the country pays $0.00 in income taxes and a good portion of that group get a refund. Then they yell - the fat cats are not paying their fair share...
