Finally! After many, many hours on a stand or just in the woods I got one! He's not a monster but he has 8 points and will taste great. I sure am happy to have one to put in the freezer. : )

I went out Thanksgiving day by the house, didn't see anything, then my 16 year old says, "wow five does walking along the neighbors field" form S to N. @ around 10:45a. Was so disgusted, I didn't even bother to grab the gun.
Went up N. Gladwin Co. for Th giving weekend and 4 of us got skunked.
Its Muzzleloading season here now. Too busy to go today, but will Sunday morning.

I had already given up on a buck this year and was hoping to just put a doe in the freezer. I was extra happy that it had antlers but a doe would have been good too.Originally Posted by nobody_iam
Vernon OH. I have a buddy from church that lets me hunt on his land in Ohio. I have property in PA to hunt on but this was the first buck in Ohio that wasn't on public land. Prior to this year I hunted Grand River WMA quite a bit.
