The hills have eyes, new edition
Am watching it now. I'm not going to go over some of the broken rules (did good with finger off trigger, but did cover a person, it's bad even though he is a democrat in the movie (that's a joke, you have to watch the movie). But, the dad.
The dad goes to get help, gets ambused, has fired off four shots in a six shot revolver. Gets in a car to try to make an escape, finds someone behind him, knows that game is over.
The other two shots are used later on to kill the wife and the oldest daughter.
So, lets say that we were him, knew that "game over" was there, would you or wouldn't you fire off the last two shots to ensure that the gun was worthless as a projectile throwing weapon and could only be used as a blunt instrument?
Silly, I know, but it did get me to thinking. A gun can be of great use for defense, but it can be deadly if it is taken and used against.

maybe the saying should be changed to read " you can have my empty gun from my dead hands"
