We had a really great thread going that touched on liberal women carrying guns, and it appears it may be gone. My last comment in the thread may have pushed us over the limits of the boards ban on politics; if so, I sincerely apologize. That was a great thread, and I certainly didn't mean to contribute to it's demise.
I'm in favor of gun control -- I think every citizen should have control of a gun.

I've learned to stay away for the controversial threads as I tend to be very opinionated regarding some subjects. Doesn't always work, but then again, I have some weaknesses too.

I can't stay out of trouble either.

In trying to be tactful, sometimes my message becomes so diluted that I regret bothering at all.

I don't like PC either and I appreciate the quote that associates it with trying to pick up a turd by the clean end. Yet, there is a difference between PC and being downright rude and offensive and a few of the remarks at the end were offensive. Remember, that what is said is also a reflection on DC and its management. I suspect that this may be why the thread went beyond closure and disappeared.

sometimes the beginning of the downfall of a 'wherever' can be seen in hindsight; sometimes in real time.
for sure i can understand that a inappropriate comment may need to be ~adjusted or even deleted.

I speak honesty. For some reason I have been told I am rude or have no cooth to some extent. My opinion is don't ask me mine and you wont hear it. If you ask "what's your opinion" its going to come out exactly how I think it. I have been "warned" for this as well.
