While my preference is pre 1980s country and bluegrass I will listen to just about any type of music except rap, hip hop or opera.

Love some Johnny Cash. But, lately I've been listening to 'Classic Rock' (Fox), or Oldies.

(All of which is older than I am)
"Rock and load, lock and roll... what's it matter? FIRE!!"

"Gun control means hitting your target every time."

Please take everything I say with at least one grain of salt- I am a very sarcastic person with a very dry sense of humor.

I'm pretty much with you on the "do not listen to " list. However I did get a kick out of hearing that the fighter pilots listened to this: Outkast - Bombs over Baghdad (B.O.B.) - YouTube during the "Shock & Awe" phase of the Iraq war

Bluegrass is my favorite! Like the oldies! Why do they call them "OLDIES"? I remember when they were brand new!

Here is one that dates back to my sojourn to a little dispute in RVN.

You probably would not believe me if I tried to list what's in my closet. My personal file on I tunes is "oddball stuff", pretty self explanatory. If I'm headed to the mountains to fly fish it usually ends up being bluegrass or some americana stuff. Doc Watson, Del McCoury, Sam Bush, Emmy Lou Harris, Robert Earl Keen usually make the rotation along with one of Johnny Cash's last albums.

For starters I play music in a band. I'm a drummer, vocalist and sometimes bassist with a Harmonica group and various other musicians. So not only do I get to hear music, I perform it.

I like mostly older stuff you know, the "classic rock" things, but I also like Country, Bluegrass, Jazz, Big Band/Swing, Blues, R&B and some Classical Beethoven/Mozart type stuff.

My radio however is on the Classic Rock stations that play 1950's to 1980's music. That is my favourite.
