I've seen a 2nd report that he was scoped at the hospital and the found no damage to the rectum or membranes. I call BS on that gun shoved up his colon. A S&W model is ~12 long and ~6+ at its widest point. Even if this was Long Dong Silvers boyfriend, he couldn't fit that entirely within the rectum without tissue damage. I've worked in an ER and seen amazing things stuffed in human orifices but that type of thing causes damage. Either they didn't do the search or some one actually left it in the cell. I'm betting the intake officer was being lazy.

My guess is that he wasn't actually strip searched but just stripped to his undershorts before being issued standard jail garb. Depending on your build, you can conceal quite a bit beneath a pair of boxers. Even if possible, concealing a gun that size inside your body would take some time and effort. Accomplishing that while handcuffed in the back of a cruiser would be quite a feat indeed.

The movie "Hancock" came to mind after I read this.... All I can see is the guy running around with the other guys head in you know where... Laughed for a minute when I saw that the first time...

Is that what they call appendix carry? No wonder people say it's uncomfortable.

In the New York City Jail on Riker's Island a member of the crips or the latin kings did this. He smuggled a .25 up his rectum and it was missed. the individual proceeded to shoot two other inmates then shot himself in the leg to look like he was also the victim and could pin it on someone else. this was around 1991
