I'll be surprised if it comes off any other way.
    You mean they aren't psychos?

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

I saw a commercial for the show earlier today. It looks interesting and will most likely be DVR'd so I won't miss it.

I lived through the last ice age back in the 60's and early 70's when the scientists were proclaiming that another ice age was starting. Then I lived through the nuclear winter that was created when Saddam Hussein lit the oil fields on fire. You do remember that one don't you? The sun was blocked out by the smoke of the oil fires for over 10 years. I didn't actually get to see it because after hearing how bad it was going to be I locked myself in a cellar and did not come out for 11 years. It must have been horrible for those without cellars. All the crops dying and the the mass extinctions that went along with it.

I owe my life to all these scientist who prepared me for these horrible disasters.

Really? Someone with enough cash can easily be prepped in a matter of weeks.

I agree with the ammo. One of my liberal neighbors once asked me if I had stuff stockpiled when the world was supposed to stop in Y2K and that she had all kinds of stuff stored up. I told her "No, I have a gun and I know where you live."

It's the rioting and looting and mayhem (mostly in the cities) that I worry about more than a natural disaster. One of the reasons I moved to a place where I can see them coming.

An important note about recording the show

There are 2 episodes tonight. Yep, that is correct, 2 episodes, so be sure to record both of them if you want to watch.

The show is pretty interesting. Half whack job and half practical common sense. About what I figured it would be.
