Congratulations! I just took that leap this past September. I promise you that your gun/ammo budget is now GONE. Every time you pick up something you will get a raised eyebrow, and a "what do you NEED that for???"

But, everything is wonderful- I've never been happier. The wedding itself is never as long as you might think it would be, and the whole night goes by so fast you won't remember any of it.

Dude - Get your toys NOW, because life changes when you tie the knot; As one of many married men, I will tell you that once you get married, applications like "beer bash 12.1, poker night 13.2, nudie bar 2.3 and Monday night football at Hooters" will no longer run! they will be replaced with new applications like "Obey your wife 1.0, Listen to ME 1.0", and the most fearsome life-changing event of all "Child Bearing 1.0"..... The "Child Bearing 1.0" application presents a particularly heavy drain on system resources because frequent use of Wife 1.0 causes a sometimes automatic upgrade to Child 2.0 and so on until all system resources are exhausted. Then Wife 1.0 begins to demand more available system resources to consolidate Wife and Child applications into Family 1.0, and life as you know it effectively ends.......

But don't let that put you off of marriage!!! Congratulations!!

Your toy budget isn't the only thing that might dry up

The day after you get married, get a jar, and every time you have sex ... put a quarter in that jar up until your first year anniversary

After that nigh, every time you have sex ... take a quarter out of the jar

If you are married for 78yrs ... you will never run out of quarters

Be nice to her keep her happy and treat her right

And someday you will get that one firearm you've always wanted

    Congratulations To You Both

There are three rings to a marriage. First the engagement ring, then the wedding ring, and lastly the suffering

Congratulations! You were wise to stock up before the fact. Now, it's a matter of explaining things correctly...as in, " Honey, now that we are together, we need TWICE the guns and ammo that I had before. I'm just trying to look out for you also, it's not just me anymore"

Stay with it. I screwed up my first marriage and regret it to this day...

Instead of exchanging rings you should exchange firearms instead to tie the knot.
