If you watched the show this scene is a day after the Dad got shot at while driving home with the family in the car. The shot went throug the windshieldand almost hit the kid. The mother is still freaked out a little as well as the kid but he wanted to see the pistol. Good show almost as good as Southland.

Kind of freaky - you could have substituted the characters for me, my son, and my wife about 4 months ago. We didn't have an event as in the story, but that's exactly how it went down as I was teaching my son about my handgun. My wife reacted exactly the same way. She is starting to appreciate my methods now, but it has definitely taken time.
Very strange to see such an exchange happen on TV. I like it. And from first-hand experience I can say that it was very realistic.

Great show, and anything associated with Tom Selleck is usually good. Tom is very pro 2A.

There's nothing that will change someone's moral outlook quicker than cash in large sums.
Majority rule only works if you're also considering individual rights. Because you can't have five wolves and one sheep voting on what to have for supper.
