I fricken LOVE that Universities are now placing some of their science courses on video.google
I can watch professors talk about cosmology or quantum physics instead of lammo TV. I can get taught, casually, stuff that would've blown Einstein's mind.
Science is a public good. The more you know, the more the net social benefit we get from this investment.
McDonalds wants us to watch Survivor so that their executives can get more money. Morality wants us to be as informed as possible so that we can be as wise as possible.
