I've heard of similar suits in the past and I think it is fairly well established that a door and windows have
to be marked so folks don't get hurt.

One advantage of the old style "silver tape" glass break alarms was that took care of the problem.

The windows on the front of my office don't have this problem.

I'm just watching out for the safety of my clients!

I wonder if she keeps the windows on her car dirty so others can see her coming?

I'm betting after the old girl walked into it, the door was clearly visible to others.

I walked smack into a window one time thinking it was the door. It didn't move when I put my hand out. Luckily the brim of my fedora eased the impact somewhat. I never thought about suing anyone over it.

I can see the sign now:

    DANGER: GLASS

On another note, it really spins me up when I walk toward a door marked AUTOMATIC DOOR KEEP MOVING but it either doesn't move fast enough or in the case of certain hospital ambulance entrances I am familiar with has a keycode lock that you have to stop and enter before the door opens. I'm sure those signs are to reduce liability yet they actually increase liability since they instruct you to walk into a door!

My thoughts exactly...first it's coffee thats hot, now it's glass that's clear. Go figure???

It's Apple's newest technology. A glass door with a retinal display. So crisp and clear you can't even see it.

She'll be in the running for the "Stella Awards." One runner up sued a store after she broke an ankle tripping over an unsupervised child, her own. How 'bout the gal who put her new motor home on cruise control and went back to make a pot of coffee.

To be fair she was returning it because she said she felt intimidated by the technology. Like glass is new LOL

You can laugh at her, but I've walked into glass panels thinking it was a door.
    Bonk!
Luckily, it didn't break and cut me, and I just felt silly.
Any company must be aware of potential dangers like this.
What? Like Apple doesn't have lawyers?
All it would take is an Apple logo on the glass at eye level.
