    RIP: Steve Irwin

    Nature finally won.

Steve Irwin, the Croc Hunter finally met his match. A stingray barb through the heart was no match. He died almost instantly.

I don't know if any of you are fans, but I am. May our prayers be with his wife and 2 kids.

Like him or not he definetly "lived" his life. I feel for his wife and children.

I too always wondered if he would tempt fate one time too many - saw many instances where he nearly ''bought it''.

This tho somewhat of a sad twist - but he will sure leave some classic material behind.

I didn't watch his show....my regrets to his family; his children won't get to know their father as they grow-up which is the true tragedy.

Darn, that's too bad, I liked that show, too. My favorite was when they were trying to pull a huge boa constrictor out of a little cave and it decided to latch onto his wife's knee.....

Everybody that knew him said that he was as nice of a guy off camera as on camera.
So he was not a fake sort of person.

    I Was Shocked...

and I feel badly for his family. He took chances far beyond anything I would consider doing! When the new flash first crossed the screen, I thought a croc caught him...he was certainly 'his own man'.

Classic fella, classic shows, and the final twist - a dramatic death scene. Sad, and his family must miss that twinkle in his eyes.

Sometimes when you live life on the edge the edge wins. I agree, he will be missed.
