We have foxes show up in our yard from time to time. I remember seeing a sliver one that showed
up in the front yard. I've seen some young ones in the back yard before, there was a den in the woods
behind my house. I enjoyed watching them play and I also see them quite often when I go hunting.
Nice pictures by the way!

Man, how did u get those pics? My parents have a family living in a cistern on their property. Probably because they also have chickens. The worst smell I have ever experienced is fox urine. Made me want to bathe in cat urine to get the smell off...make sure they stay out of the garage!

Very nice! We can usually count on seeing a fox in the neighborhood once or twice a year. But never for long enough to get a picture.

Great pics! Neat! Foxes are fun to watch, but have there is a risk of Rabies! Make sure pets are immunized.
"He went on two legs, wore clothes and was a human being, but nevertheless he was in reality a wolf of the Steppes. He had learned a good deal . . . and was a fairly clever fellow. What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life. The cause of this apparently was that at the bottom of his heart he knew all the time (or thought he knew) that he was in reality not a man, but a wolf of the Steppes."
Nice pelts, soft and fluffy.

R&G is right on the rabies thing. Be careful.
It might not be endemic out on The Island, but you can't take a chance.

If the Union is once severed, the line of separation will grow wider and wider, and the controversies which are now debated and settled in the halls of legislation will then be tried in fields of battle and determined by the sword.
Just noticed a new brood of red fox hatched out under the porch of an old house near me. Its fun to watch them play. Last spring we had three different families running around. Only spotted the one so far this spring on my nightly walks.
Just a question. I've watched them carry off eggs a number of times and take them back to their dens. Can they detect the eggs if it was not for the odor or presence of the adult birds? If there were only eggs and no birds would the fox smell them?
They are cute little thieves, arn't they?
