    Is our government getting ready For a Civil War

    Don't you just love the fact that we are paying the salaries of all these politicians who are doing this to us, and we are paying for all this ammunition that might be used against us. Our own government has their own doomsday plan with bunkers under the ground secret places and a stockpile ammunition food and they stockpile everything they might need .... But yet if we stockpile ammunition or weapons or food we are considered extremist and probably put on a list . Is this really happening or are we just paranoid, and if it is really happening how come it is not publicized. it seems the only people who are paying attention are the people in the firearms culture you know all of us the troublemakers

    You need to define "this" in the part I put in bold. As best I can tell my government pretty much leaves me entirely alone,
    except for the stuff related to personal income taxes.

    My local government is by far the bigger pain in the backside; they tell you when to mow your lawn, what color to paint your
    business, that you can't smoke a cigar, can't park certain vehicles on your own property. Want to start a business, they'll tell you what shrubs you need, what your bathroom for customers must be like. Heck, compared to local government
    Uncle is easy.
    If the Union is once severed, the line of separation will grow wider and wider, and the controversies which are now debated and settled in the halls of legislation will then be tried in fields of battle and determined by the sword.

    I highly doubt that our government is preparing for a civil war. I just don't see that as a credible threat at this point in time.

    It's not uncle so much that I am worried about, but the generation of "entitled" that it is raising.

    I see your point though. Really? No cigars?

    I see the fed being too busy wrecking our economy to be worried about little ol' me.

    It's a coin-toss as to whether our leaders are just that incompetent, or if it's part of a darker plan of imposed financial chaos, designed to be rescued by a socialist dictatorship. {insert tinfoil hat icon}

    I agree with Hopy that in the meanwhile, the corrupt small-time local gov't wanna-be's are a much bigger pain in my keister.

    And the "pound" "shelter" etc., by any other name runs by local rules. It ain't uncle declaring that
    Tommy has to be uh, "fixed" before going home with you or going to the big kennel in the sky.

    The dogs look embarrassed, but the kitty looks like he is planning which pair of your shoes to leave a little "present" in. Check them before putting your feet in them.
