    So is it true, that gun guys are also camera guys? ...and a few pics

    Because the handful of guys I know into guns, are into cameras. They have their digital SLRs and multiple lenses and accessories. Albeit, maybe it's just the group I know (my hubby and his pals). Anyway, I have been comandeering my husband's new Nikon DSLR alot lately... pretty fun, but still learning about cameras (as well as guns).

    Here are some of my best pics so far (click for bigger pics). Any critiques are welcome and I would like to see what others are shooting too!

    A butterfly at my mom's garden in Austin, TX.

    Dallas, TX skyline from the Reunion Tower.

    At a Houston Rockets game.

    Visiting my friend's iguana in Kemah, TX.

    One of two proton beams at the Indiana University Cyclotron Facility. I did some work there for a short while.

    Hi Wendy - well, gun-guy/photog' here!! In fact many years ago I did freelance work here and there - B/W, darkroom and all the gear. Love your pics

    Now dig only but - do enjoy it. Much is taking gun pics but also take other stuff when chance arises. let me post a few pics in your sorta category, seeing as we don't have much outside of guns usually.

    First - one of last year's ''Brood X" cicadas -

    Great pix from the both of you. Such clarity, Chris. You can count the hairs on the beetle and pray mantis.

    Did I hear ''more'' from QK? Ask and ye shall receive Bit more floral aspect this time tho I know everyone shoots flowers!

    Cleomes - very pretty and long lasting but - grow mega tall and seed very freely!

    Std lily - see 'em everywhere round here in summer.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Water lily in our small pond.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
