Well, life is good! 2 and 1/2 decades of Uncle Sam's Misguided Children did not 'bend' my attitude too much. Working/replacing the brakes on the big HD (bagger) that is up on the small bike lift, and blasting.....

(WARNING - some mild language in this Video - per the rules of this site = this is the cleanest version I could find - not the version I was blasting!) Mods. Fully understand if you remove this and give me pioints. The second song below is clean!

And just to mellow you out (to my older Brothers from the Viet Vet age - a mix for you!):

Socialism Kills! Time proven, with a very large body count! We are a Constitutional Republic....... not a Democracy, get it correct!

Listening to the news on Libya....Affey Land..other strange deployment places..thinking of our 4 lost! Not an insult to the NSW 'Teamies', as I know the lost were not US Army. I was looking for a right anthem for effect. Got you Squids, who worry way too much over Coranado boat drills, covered on the second one, below. Semper Fi!

Bill Frisell, from a range of his recordings. Amazing guitarist.

Helen Merrill, from her jazzy standards from the 1950-70's.

A set of tunes with Beryl Booker, a jazz/swing pianist and vocalist from the late 1940's. Sweet.

I mostly listen to Oldies from the 60's and 70's. I love that music, maybe because it brings back so many good memories.

One current group that I really like and have actually bothered to download a album (do they ever say, "album" anymore? I don't know) is "Mumford & Son". I'm listening to this right now: Mumford and Sons - Little Lion Man - YouTube

WARNING!!! CONTAINS SOME BAD LANGUAGE...don't listen with kids in the room.

I don't use "that" word but I was a teenager in the 60's so I don't faint when I hear it either.

Here's another one by the same group that you CAN listen to with kids around:Mumford & Sons - The Cave - YouTube
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
