I'll have to go back and watch the scene but I got the impression the guy was maybe looking for a Springfield and she said how about an S&W M&P instead of a Springfield.

The comment that made me laugh is when she said what M&P stood for, while she was correct it kind of gave the impression that is all that the Military and Police use, as opposed to the Glock that they had also looked at.

Right, cause I just love my Springfield M&P....

Are you serious or did I misunderstand your post?
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

Nothing in that exchange between Paige and the animal guy struck me as odd.

I think it was 8K for the scout rifle alone? The show is so poorly scripted, it is beyond comprehension.

...Sadly, I'll watch anything that has guns.
Lol!!! I saw this one as well! 8k for a mossberg MVP with a action and trigger job and a s&w governor with some scroll work! I was like WHAT!!?? All for alligators that are killed every day by 22's and 17's. Hahahaha. I'm on the same boat though whec, if it has guns it has my attention

I bought a 1700 dollar m&p, It's still at bowie tactical. When finished it will also have a paint job (tan ceracote) and a trigger job.
It will also have full stippling, reliability package, milled slot for a delta point, a delta point (about 500 of it right there), slide milled for irons forward of the rds, high iron sights that cowitness with the rds, slide radiusing and magwell cutout.
    Hey gunsmoke, I win.

Seriously my jaw about dropped when I saw that episode... I literally ranted to my wife.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the show is completely outrageous, but I still watch it!

What really blew my mind about the gator rifle was the customer was a complete lefty, why would you not get a left handed rifle, especially if it's a bolt gun? I guess he was getting the governor for use while he was working the bolt.

$400 for a trigger job!! What!!!! This was absurd to me! A paint job at my local Cerakote Guy is $150 for slide annnddd frame and a apex trigger kit for $100?? Yea I will never pay that much for a m&p. And the paint job looked like a cheap airbrush job like the front license plates at the state fair. Lol
