Haven't heard the acronyms much, myself, outside of the DC forums. Out in the world, comments/questions seem to be more like whether one's got a license to carry, about carrying concealed versus openly, and the like. Any response I make simply refers to a firearm, weapon and mode of carry, avoiding the acronyms since not everyone knows them. The acronym usage question doesn't bug me, as I know what they mean.
But I like my CCW, I carry my CCW 24/7. My CCW never leaves my side. My EDC CCW is a smith and wesson. My wife doesnt have her CCW yet, but when she does we can CCW together.
Don"t let stupid be your skill set....
I'm confused, what exactly is the issue here? Are we now the grammar police?
I know what pet peeve means, in fact I even have a few, e.g. people on internet forums who feel the need to question what I say and do!
I am definitly with the OP. When used properly I could care less, but when used out of place it is really annoying.
Especially when refering to the licence/permit itself and not the firearm. I have a license to carry concealed pistol (LTCCP), which in and of itself will drive some people here crazy since I can also carry a revolver, if you want to start that argument too.

We have CCL for your EDC you can always also OC without a CCL thanks to our AG and DOJ...........remember to have your DL for ID with your CCL when asked by LE.
