    Well.. I don't think it's news-worthy... but I think a lot of us could say we would rather have done that than the punishments we were given as children lol.

    I believe the punishment fits the crime. Possibly it will save him from stealing or even breaking other laws when he grows up.

    The kid prefers this punishment over a good spanking. I say do both. Let the little guy know how the real world acts.....
