    Anyone else feeling the heat?

It's 101 degrees at 6pm here in central Ky. We have had no rain for two weeks now. Ponds are receding and creeks are drying up. Only good thing is I haven't had to mow grass in awhile.

How are things round the rest of the country?

Been 100+ for days here in Oklahoma. Very hot, no wind. It's almost too hot to be in the pool. Almost!

It was 98 on my little mountain top at 5:50 pm and I'm supposed to be in the higher elevation. Have to make sure the horse and goats have plenty of fresh water for the next few days.

Used my IR thermometer on the blacktop parking lot out back... 127 degrees...

I think I'll bring some eggs tomorrow for lunch; fry them on the ground.

88F clear and RH @ 19% here. We're usually a lot hotter here for this time of year. 100+ or at least high 90s.

Got up to 103 here in Bellevue, KY. I expect police and fire to be busy tonight.

It is a bit too warm even for here. We've been over 100 a couple of days, and that usually doesn't happen
till later in mid-July or even into August.

I feel sorry for those who have to be out and about in the afternoons. Maybe its my age and health,
but just walking from car to store and back to car, getting into an overheated car, is a bit much for me.

Not sure what part of OK your in, but in SW OK that would be considered cool weather this time of year.

We were lower 100's last week. Calling for temps around 101-103 tomorrow and the weekend.

Grass! You still got grass? All I've got now is crunch brown stuff that is trying to look like grass.
