Mike, I know the feeling. My GF and I are back "home" in Knoxville this week visiting friends. After being in Florida for a year it has made me realize even more how much I like east TN.

Smitty, you said it! My own pillow and my own bed with my wife there beside me. Nothing beats that.

Enjoy it while you can. Hope you can move back for good someday.

Interestingly, as I was leaving the training facility, I ran into a fellow tech from my district (Tennessee) who was just starting the same course I had just finished. He is a new hire in Knoxville.

If you ever got home sick while in Vegas, you could have stuck your head in an oven while on "self clean". Same sort of temperatures. Welcome back

It was actually hotter in Vegas. One day it was 114 degrees. But, the humidity was a mere 14% so I actually thought it was 85 to 90 degrees.

Welcome home! We are planning on visiting Chatanooga in a couple of weeks. Do you have any suggestions on what sites to see and which ones to stay away from? Thanks!
