I have seen that one! My uncle is a retired Marine, his wife owned the flower shop, after she died, he operated it for 8 more years, before he sold it and retired.
"Gun Free Zones" is where only criminals carry guns.

    An atheist in a foxhole

People who can stop yakking on their cell phone long enough to say "thanks" when you hold the door for them

Drivers who know enough to move out of the fast lane if they are not passing anyone

Parents who actually pay attention to what their kids are doing, instead of reading Facebook on their stupidphones
The more good folks carry guns, the fewer shots the crazies can get off.

Lake bottom. Saw it on a couple of occasions, one fairly shallow and one way the heck down there. Both were muddy, murky, cold and ugly places to be. Wasn't quite like touchin' the drain, back at the neighbors' pool.

Both "please" and "thank you" out of the same person's mouth. It used to be common. Nowadays, it's as rare as hen's teeth.

Usually a person just ask for something and say thank you when its given to them. Like if you need something off The top shelf in a store.

Nope. I drink now and then and generally don't care about other peoples opinions. I stated an observation. That's what was asked by the op.

I'll add another vote for people lacking thick skin these days.
