After reading this on NR (Revisiting the 1980s G.I. Joe Cartoon - Loren A. Smith Jr. - National Review Online) I pulled up the episodes. To my surprise, my two pre-teen girls love these old shows.
Notice the horrible fire discipline and terrible marksmanship on both sides! I wish they'd make cartoons like this again. Over the top villains, world domination, Red Blooded American heroes....

Netflix and HULU are cool...We have access to them all on our TV's. For those that don't know you can watch netflix or a lot of other streaming channels on any TV if you buy a box made by Roku. About 50 bucks. It is the size of a hockey puck and you hook it up (RCA or HDMI) and you are good to go...cool thing is you can hide the box if you want and use your smart phone as a controller instead of the one provided.....and no, I do not work for them LOL. Just a lot of folks have never heard if it before.
