Being a car guy, I'm glad the guy never gave up looking and finally got it back. I didn't see my Volkswagen for 9 years (it wasn't stolen) and finally got it back. Never thought I'd see it again. I'd go berzerk if someone stole it. Glad I've got my garage hooked to my monitored alarm.
I had a Blazer(83) that was stolen in 1985, during the summer, after only having it 6 weeks.
Had an alarm on the kitchen table all ready to go in.
Can't believe he still had all the info on it.
Wonder how that works, cause if he had ins. on it, wouldn't they have paid him off?
Thereby ownership would not have been rightfully his anymore, me thinks?
I would guess he did not have insurance. If I had to guess somebody either tagged the vehicle or forged a set of papers for the vehicle.
