    Found a mutant insect in my frito lay seeds (w/pic)

    wow... I have no words. I am disgusted. and I'm the guy who just dumps a bunch in my mouth at a time. this time I put a few on a piece of paper and look what came out of it!

    I suspect this is a weed seed and not a bug. Have seen these before but do not know what plant they are from. Still, would be uncomfortable in the mouth.

    found out it's a cocklebur. some kind of poisonous thing

    It invades agricultural lands and can be poisonous to livestock, including horses, cattle, and sheep. Some domestic animals will avoid consuming the plant if other forage is present, but less discriminating animals, such as pigs, will consume the plants and then sicken and die. The seedlings and seeds are the most toxic parts of the plants. Symptoms usually occur within a few hours, producing unsteadiness and weakness, depression, nausea and vomiting, twisting of the neck muscles, rapid and weak pulse, difficulty breathing, and eventually death.

    hey, i don't midn settling for a .50 cal semi. i'll even take that semi serbu. lol

    i sent some emails to product liability lawyers. see what happens... I called it a mutant bug though. only after I found out that it's a cocklebur (which apparently is a seed that can kill livestock) i'm no livestock but still...
