Men try to carjack undercover cop car

The San Diego police detective, whose name was not released, was patrolling on Polk Avenue when he stopped at a stop sign at 48th Street around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. The two men came up to the driver's window and one reached into his waistband and said, "This is a carjacking," according to San Diego police.

Too bad there was no camera to catch their expressions, that would have been priceless.

Lucky for them that they didn't get a lead supplement that night. And for us, it is too bad that they didn't get a lead supplement that night because they'll probably just do it again and might be more violent up front.

I'd say they're lucky the cop didn't smoke 'em right where they stood.

I'm with Hiram25. What the?? The guy could have walked 5 miles in the time it took him to screw around in the parking lot for that time. But I guess he still thinks he deserves someone else's car.

The IRA in Belfast were car jacking cars, in the 60s, "Take your owner book out of your glove box, we want the car" The Goverment would give you an other car.

SAS trooper in an Austin 1100, stopped at a red light, "Take the.... BANG/BANG... BANG/BANG trooper seen laughing his Arse off, driving away.

    Wrong car.
