    There was more than one occasion flying my Huey around during night fam flights in rural SW Missouri that we were "spotlighted" from the ground. I hope (but don't know) that no one was actually shooting at us - would not have been able to hear with all the helicoptor noise. We were normally about 2,500-3,000 ft high.

    It's not proven he's guilty that I've read, so I'm not jumping on the bandwagon and will also like to know what mentioning this adds to the story?

    It has nothing to do with the incident, nothing... and it's apparently legal, so what's the point - media trying to paint someone as crazy and guilty?
