UK bans guns.Knife crime goes up. Ban knives? after knives then what? Gun bans only keep the criminals armed and the law abiding living in fear. Nobody ever wants to address the issue of lengthy prison sentences for violent offenders. The UK is one of the worst. They give such lite sentences. In the UK today there is a gentleman who sits in prison for shooting two intruders. The pair both with lengthy criminal records are not in jail. The homeowner is doing like 20+ yrs in prison.
Don't allow anti-gunners the ability to point to Europe and England as great examples of gun control. They are not.

Tire irons, hammers, and bats (cricket, I presume, since I have no actual knowledge of whether a cricket bat would actually hurt someone).
I believe croquet mallets would be out because the youth might get blood on their croquet unis.

Actually there was some uproar over there just a couple of years ago as some poor sap (who was actually on a cricket team) got busted for carrying a weapon. His weapon...the cricket BALL! Yep, you read that right, not the bat...the BALL. He was walking along the street and bouncing the ball off the ground and catching it.
