    Notes from the farm

Life on the farm is going well. We've had does all summer but yesterday we had the first two bucks out in the field. I'm hoping to cash in on one in the early part of archery season while the beans are still green.

I'm getting dialed in with the bow.

Lastly our first watermelon is starting to come in.

You need to tighten up that grouping!

Looks like your living the good life.

If that group was any tighter I'd need to get new arrows. : )

Now that I have the bow dialed in I'll quit shooting groups or I'll break too many. Arrows are too expensive to waste.

Looks like you are "adjusting" to farm life.

    Go for it, my friend!

So I gather you're holding off scheduling the First Annual Defensive Carry Invitational Shoot until you have enough venison, turkey and watermelon to feed us all???

BTDT. I have one. Now I rip them apart and try to save the second arrow. Robbin Hoods cost me about $15 every time I do it.

I only have one bathroom. I'm not sure how it would work out. Frankly, I'd do it but I don't know where I'd put everyone. There aren't too many hotels around here.

Life on a the farm is definatly good.....love my place, and be patient , where there are does, there will be bucks.....love the archery, what kind of bow you shoot ? I quit hunting deer with rifles several years ago, it is almost like cheating....unless i have a poor archery season, then cheating is allowed , lol
Enjoy the good life, sounds like your doing well....btw, how big is the farm ?

Very nice. No farm here , but enjoying the country life for all its worth. A small garden, some bird feeds and a nice deck to relax after work.

I've got a tent that will sleep 7-8 comfortably. Could probably shove a couple more in there if need be.

And, as for the arrows, you should get a longbow. They're MUCH more interesting. 'Plucking yew' and whatnot...
