This is pretty funny, but shouldn't a gun be unloaded before you put a trigger lock on it? I certainly wouldn't be comfortable putting a lock inside the trigger guard of a loaded gun.

He may have been the one to load it after the lock was put on. You don't need access to the trigger to load a gun, revolver or auto.
