We got a nice summer going on here in WI! Just not enough rain the corn is short and funny looking. Almost no bugs.
I hurt my neck and take an ice pack to work and put it in the freezer at work. I take it out and use it around my neck for the ride home. Keeps me cool. But it is a water pack by the time I get home.

    It's HOT here also.
Contrast these temps with "the year without a summer" <~~~Google that.

I guess that's why they call it the weather...because it always changes just like the weather.

My uniforms are dark navy and 65% polyester the rest being cotton. No offense to LEOs but I do not envy your wearing body armor under the same thing.

Last summer was my first in Tennessee and it was mild. They all say that August is the worst with actual temps in the low 100s, 115ish heat index. This year we made thoes temps before summer started. I am starting to fear what this month may bring.

I worked in Saudi Arabia (Jubail) in 1986. It reached 138 one day, so 102 today wasn't too bad.
