Starting to wonder about the law down in IND.
Either its sloppy reporting, or the cops did not remove the kids from the home, and place them in protective services.
Man it seems in Mi. if your kid goes to school with the sniffles they are investigating you nowadays.

The cops may of referred the situation to Childrens Services and perhaps they didn't remove the kids. I say this because my son's mother overdosed on heroin in a McDonalds parking lot while my son and his sister were ordering their food inside. Children Services didn't remove the kids and give me full custody, instead they put together some slack ass 'safety plan' to where her and her husband were drug tested twice (over the course of 2 months) and that she and her husband weren't allowed to be alone with the kids (her, her husband, and the kids were living with her parents). I was outraged by this and have since filed for emergency custody and was eventually granted it. Glad I did, because her and her husband are now behind bars on 16 charges each and four of which are felonies. Of course, all these charges are drug and burglary related.

His greatest regret is likely to be simply being held responsible for his actions, not the doing of it.

Unsurprising he was DUI, and that it was the liquor store guy who called it in. When you're hot, you're hot!

I've heard of strappin' the moose to the caboose, up in Maine, but this is new. I guess everything does happen in Indiana ... eventually.

I have to admit, when mine were young, and several hours into a long trip. The thought crossed my mind!

She was with them, a good friend of mine is the store manager of the West Jefferson Belmont Beverage, he was one of many that called 911.

18 months of home detention in lieu of prison time. That might give you a glimpse of living with the mother!
It's all part of the big picture.
