    Brave folks. Happy birthday.
I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

Just don't leave shore without your EPIRB.

They can't save you, if they can't find you. Just say'n...

I have the highest regard for our Coast Guard! Lots of awareness of their valuable service from years on Cape Cod, plus I worked with several Coasties, and tried like heck to get one of my kids interested in the USGGA. Even dated the Academy Commandant's daughter briefly back in the 70's!

Happy Birthday, United States Coast Guard!
