Great Odin's Ravens, that's one heck of a witness! He knew WHO CALLED HIM, and WHERE THE CALL CAME FROM? Surely, then, he knows what was said by both parties, no?
That video is bunk from 0:00 to infinity:infinity. Every premise is laughable, every "stat" completely wrong, and every witness...well...let's just say they don't put together a credible version of anything.
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

Look on the bright side: we won't have to worry about a 'single bullet' theory.
Your best weapon is your brain. Don't leave home without it.
Thoughts: Justifiable self defense.
Explain: How does
disarming victims
reduce the number of victims?

Get out! The call is coming from INSIDE THE THEATER!

I am generally against any and all conspiracy theories, unless it is something totally outrageous I make up to make fun of the tin foil hat wearing people I know. That said, I was questioning how they knew this was done by one shooter so quickly myself. The question of why he went to such trouble to turn his apartment into a huge bomb and then told police about it so quickly has also popped into my head a few times. But...
Where did he get the money? Well let's see. His family isn't what one would call "disadvantaged" by any stretch of the imagination. I wouldn't be shocked to learn that they were sending some money his way. He was a smart kid, meaning that he found ways to get people to pay him to go to school, so there was money coming in from that. And it appears he lived pretty cheaply, so there wasn't a ton of money going out to bills- meaning most of what he earned, borrowed, stole, or acquired could be spent on anything he wanted to spend it on.
Was he the only person involved? I don't know. I'd guess he was since the police really don't stand to gain anything by hiding a second shooter from us. (And after writing this I realized that I lied. There's one conspiracy theory that intrigues me due in part to what people have told me from their own first hand experiences surrounding the event. No reason to get into it here, but I'll admit to not being 100% free of the conspiracy virus myself.)

I read his vest was just a tactical vest. I suspect he just paid for it all with a credit card.

I am amazed that anyone who has ever worked for any governmental body could EVER believe that any government would be CAPABLE of pulling off any of these capers that gather "conspiracy" around them. :)

Re funding, wasn't Holmes the recipient of a $26K grant (not loan) from the National Institutes of Health (NIH)?

I read that as well shortly after the shooting. Also, a buddy of mine has an iPhone app that will make his phone ring on a timer and show the call coming from any number he chooses. Helps get him a break in long meetings sometimes.

The government has pulled it off in the past. The Gulf of Tonkin is a prime example.

The more I read topics like this and the responses, the more I realize just how many people walk around in this world in pure paranoia.
