I will see it, hoping it is as good as or better than the original. Cue the mission impossible theme.

"Suspension of Dis-Belief" ------- Movies are entertainment. If things blow up, I go see it. Looks like a fun couple of hours.
It was hard enough to suspend that much disbelief for the first one, when there was actually another super-power bent on destroying us. This, unfortunately, looks to be aimed straight at the "Transformers" crowd...and that ain't me. But, I will go in with an open mind, and reserve final judgement.
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.
I'm pretty sure it will suck.....like all of the CGI movies do. Too many special effects and not enough acting and plot.
This. The special effects, like the sound track, should be used to support and compliment the movie, not be the main attraction. Too many bad movies have come out in the past decade that were nothing more than a CGI extravaganza with nothing else to keep the viewer interested in watching a second or third time.

I'll go see it, but my wife will probably make fun of me for it. And I probably will just take it.
Walk softly ...

Hmmmph. Still call them the Wolverines. A true update would call them the "Honey Badgers" 'cuz Honey Badgers don't care.
Redbox... period. Hollywood is starting to go the way of rap artists. Nothing original, all copied off others work.

I'll wait til it's available on Comcast "On Demand". Will probably be like 99% of remakes, give an "f" for originality and a "D-" for content.

I'll rent it but skip going to the theatre to see this Red Dawn.
I don't carry a gun to look for or start a fight. I carry one to finish a fight I never wanted to be in.
I am getting older and my body is broken, but I love feel-good movies that kicks the commies rear-end.
