Tolbert says on the third day of visiting, while at the Disney studios, a company representative asked him to change his clothing. He says he never solicited autographs or pictures but was asked anyway, which apparently wasn't appreciated by the Disney rep.

I would like to know what he was wearing when the Disney folks asked him to go change his clothes & stop being so jolly. But my first (admittedly wise-guy) response is that if he had been less jolly, and more openly gay, they'd been afraid to say a damn word.

Understandable.
No outside Easter bunny either. The only fictitious characters allowed are the ones they put in place.
I traveled to Disney with 'Harvey the invisible rabbit' and he never gets questioned for obvious reasons. However they did NOT like me talking to him at dinner in one of their restaurants and they refused to serve me another cocktail. They said Harvey needed to tone it down a little. Harvey refuses to go back and quite frankly I don't blame him!

my question is why would he want to walk around dressed like that?
I don't carry a gun to look for or start a fight. I carry one to finish a fight I never wanted to be in.

Dressed like what? A red-striped shirt? Heck, most of us "walk around" trying to dress like people who aren't carrying guns. Most folks dress like "something". What's the big deal? It's not like he showed-up with elves & a sack full-o'-toys.

It's right in the employees contract, listed in the "Santa" clause.
