    Odd find in the street

I went for a ride to the Sacramento Valley today shoping gun stores and motorcycle gear stores. Coming back at about 4 PM pulled up to a red light at the main intersection of Waterford, Ca, a blink of a town east of Modesto. In the road was a dozen or so shiny .223 shell casings, looked like they been run over all day. I think the LCP in my vest pocket puckered up a bit.
I don't always have nothing to say, but when I do, I post it on Facebook.

That may not have been an area of town to linger in.

I'd avoid that part of town though.

But yeah, I can see how that could make a fella feel a tad under-armed.

I bet someone threw them out from their vehicle.
Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME. Our success in this will be proportional to how hard we work to make it happen.

Maybe someone discarding the "evidence" of a recent drive by shooting.

It isn't everyday you find empty shell casings. Once while out working in a residential neighbourhood, I found a couple spent .45 brass casings.

    You just never know.

Did you run the red light ? ? LOL

Well, typically if they were .223, probably the police shooting. Now, if they were AK casings.....

Hey I found the bullets to those at a wallmart down here in south Texas a few months back. Considering I can see Mexico from that parking lot I'm leaning towards the cartels disposing of evidence by shipping the spent cases to California.

Right now the bed of my pickup has about 200 .223 casings in it. I also have a mangled tailgate, so I could see how some of them could fall out. Quite possible that they just fell out of a vehicle.
