What holster and gun for shower wear?

The "when do you take off your holster thread" got me to thinking about........

What gun and holster combo to wear while taking a shower ( ) ?

    My choices:

Glock 23 in a belly band. Or HK .45 in belly band.

    Reasons:

Glock and HK have been shown to stay functional in/under water. Polymer frame, slide finish shows to take the elements.

Belly band: Well, it's accessable, only covers the belly and you don't want water to drain into your belly button and drown you (j/k, old wives tell I heard somewhere) and no one sees that part so if it's dirty no one will know.

So, what 'rigs' would you wear.

This is a joke thread, don't anyone get their panties in a wad. I really wear a shoulder holster with a stainless steel GP-100, 5.5in barrel loaded with hydroshoks +P+ .357 rounds.

I usually glue my 23 to my chest with gorilla glue - I don't need no stinkin' shower holster...

I just us the clip draw. It was cheaper than installing a water tight gun safe in the shower.

Anyone seen the ad' on TV for some caulk stuff for tub and shower?

The wife looks in and sees at the end on the wall, a nice trophy mounted deer head

"It's a shower caddy'' says he!

That'll do me - hang the 226 ST on one of the antlers - above the line of shower spray - good to go!

Warning tho - beware ''soap on a rope''

So you can clean your glock in the shower to save time. I've known a few that have gone through the dishwasher. Same thing i guess.

I have sent a few metal frames on a journey through the dishwasher. Real nice for degreasing some of those hard to reach areas.

I thought that was what it was for. How else do you get the Cosmoline off an old O frame.

Actually, I donít want to get my Glock wet so I put it in-between my butt cheeks. It gives me a nice workout too holding them together.

My mom is an old Montana woman. I keep teasing her about how strange Montanians( ) are, she really doesn't appriciate it, but I have proof now

I use the Mak in the shower on a rope n don't worry about rust, clp and that 5 lbs of steel it's made of won't rust away before I do.

I do like the deer head though, flashlight, knife, soap, etc :)

For all you guys that posted in the "to clean,or not to clean" thread, that you do not clean.

Make sure that you put your weapon in a water tight zip lock bag so it "accidently" wont get some of the crud washed off of it. -------
