I don't know how anyone could argue that you were posing as law enforcement by naming your wireless ID something. It isn't something which anyone would know who it was so unless you were out "posing" as a LEO, then I don't see any prosecutor taking that one on. But, in this day and age where criminals are treated like victims and victims treated like criminals, anything appears to be possible. Probable, no. Possible, yes.

Had "that" come up on an iPhone when I stayed at the Hotel Phillips in downdown Kansas City.

I saw on Facebook last week where a guy said the police sat outside his house for 4 hours because he named his wifi "Marijuana Grow House".

I moved about a year ago and set up wifi; wish I would have read this before. Except I am living in a neighborhood with an abundance of Obama bumper stickers so maybe...

Shouldn't be a big deal to change your SSID.
Log on to your router (192.168.1.1 or whatever)
Change the SSID
When you try to connect your lap top or what ever wirless device just click on the SSID and check "Connect automaticly"
For wireless printers and stuff you most likely will have to go into the menu and tell it to use the new SSID.
Takes a minute or so.
