Arrest of Blockaded Perp Near My Church

Off Topic because it has little to do with firearms, except the Cops showed up with guns and bullet proof vests to arrest this guy, again for the umpteenth time, for home invasion. Now he has 17 counts against him. The Police are lamenting that he gets out of jail and goes right back to robbing people. They and I feel the frustration of continuation of crime after release from jail, they just never learn.

This happend across the Avenue from where I go to church, and yesterday, someone in our "hood" vandalized the concrete steps leading to the basement of the church. We have also been targeted for A/C unit copper theft and various attempts to break into the buildings. We have nothing to steal, we are a poor church in monetary stuff, but rich in other things.

Here is the artice from the Herald-Dispatch in Huntington, WV.

Being religious myself, I couldn't even fathom stealing from a church or vandalizing one.

17 counts? At what point do we declare someone a lost cause?
