The following word is irrelevant. When pronouncing the letter F, we start with a vowel sound. Thus, we use "an." That's really all there is to it.

True how this thread is actually comical..... It started out over the use of LEO... Then went on to other acronyms... Yet when most of the acronyms used on this forum are understood by most people the grammar/spelling police come to arrest us...

"Should" according to whom?
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

Those who still have a little common sense left. :)
BTW, have I mentioned my theory that in most people, Education and common sense are inversely proportional?

'bout time somebody stepped in and correct this bunch of hairy, knuckle draggin' buffoons. This comment does NOT apply to the lovely ladies of this forum. Especially since they all shoot better than me. And are meaner. And can probably find out where I live.

Very true as I have worked with some very highly educated idiots on occasion.
