A man, without force, is without the essential dignity of humanity. Human nature is so constituted, that it cannot honor a helpless man, although it can pity him; and even this it cannot do long, if the signs of power do not arise.

Good book. Did you read "Alas, Babylon"?

Just ordered the latest in Sandford's "Prey" series. Twenty-two books and it keeps getting better.

Just finished "No Easy Day" by Mark Owen. Obviously it's a very intriguing story, and the details of the Osama Bin Laden mission were very interesting. He's not the best author, and he skips around a little bit, but it was definitely a good read.

Also just finished "Full Black" by Brad Thor. Great action thriller.

Wow, looks like I need to get into some more productive reading :/

Anyone remember the Mack Bolan series? Used to read those over and over as a teenager. The Don Pendleton written books were the best IMHO.

I just started reading "The Hunters" By W.E.B. Griffin. It's pretty good so far. Barely into, so I'm not entirely sure what it's about. So far seems to be some espionage, covert ops type of stuff.

If anybody's looking for something to read I started a thread a while ago to get suggestions.

Finished reading 11/22/63 by Stephen King, which has quite a bit about guns, and the moral dilemma about shooting someone.

Now reading "The Tombs" (A Fargo Adventure) by Clive Cussler If you have not read any of these, the Fargo Series is actually a pretty good read
