Good News
Some of you know that the wife and I are huge GSD fans. Well back in December we had to put our beloved Mercedes (avatar pic) down after 11 wonderful years. We still have our male, Mickey, who is about 7 y/o now (got him as a rescue, vet estimated his age).
We found out today that we have been approved to get a puppy from the Monks of New Skete. If you are into GSD's, look into this breeding program. Their dogs are very highly rated amongst breeders and the waiting list is 12 - 18 months long.
Anyhow, I tapped into a bottle of 12 y/o Strathisla to celebrate.

Sounds like the puppy will have a big price tag to go with that Title.

GSD's are great dogs/family! Our 10 YO Dame is the best ever.

Awesome! Before I got my first dog, two of the books I read were by the Monks of New Skete, and I've given their books to several friends before they got puppies. You are part of a select group - congratulations! And I can't think of a more fitting way to celebrate.
