    The difference is the million FPS video wasn't filmed in one shot. It was filmed by a camera with a very high shutter speed, but at slower than 1 million FPS. They then took several recordings under the same circumstances and used a computer to piece together the frames from the different recordings in the right order, basically filling in the spaces. Like taking pictures of an event that happens exactly the same every time, over the course of several events in a row. Then taking the pictures and making a movie out of them by putting them in the right order.
