This is akin to getting a speeding ticket for doing 130 MPH, admitting it, and then claiming the officer wrote down the wrong date on the ticket, so the case should be thrown out.
What non-sense.

Find it interesting that he was charged with kidnapping because he forcibly took her 60 ft from where she was, even though he took her INTO her home. Bravo, I s'pose!
Have to look up kidnapping, but I would assume it has to be along the lines of forcing someone to be relocated against their will. Buildings locations etc hopefully arent an issue i.e. take someone to desert to do evil things. Now if we could just cane him as well all would be right with the world.

If you ever call 911 and tell EMS that they "have to" take your grandma/aunt/husband/whoever to the hospital without the patient's consent because they are sick/injured/etc., be prepared to get a lecture about "kidnapping." Unless the patient has a documentable and verified altered mental status or you have in hand a durable medical power of attorney, ain't gonna happen when I'm around. Will I try to talk the patient into going? Yes/maybe. Will I take him against his will? Nope. Feel free to do that in your own car, not mine.
OK I went a little far OT. Had to vent. Carry on.
