My thoughts exactly; an AR isn't exactly the 'fear me' or 'keep away' weapon that an old WWI or WWII weapon is. Not to mention how easily one of those is outdated- I don't think an M1 would ever be 'outdated' no matter what we come up with. Personally, I'd go with an M1.

Please take everything I say with
at least one grain of salt- I am a

very dry sense of humor.

I chose an AR 15 because:
A: I own one and love it
B: It makes the anti's cringe which falls right in there with what the words mean.

Seriously, don't judge a book by it's cover because my guess is 75% of the people who defend your freedom have tattoos. You're welcome

I'm gonna work up a picture of what I'm thinking and post it here later.
I am all for new ink as long as it's meaningful to you!

It's your skin, do with it as you like.
I don't have any tattoos because I have never seen a picture or saying that I like enough to be carrying around on me for the rest of my life.

Take a few weeks, make sure you like it and don't want to change anything about it. I have 2 and no regrets.

When I see one that can't be hidden by a T-shirt I think "Convict", followed by "we will not be doing business, hiring, etc.".
EDIT> Except for Military tats. I grew up in a Navy/USMC town

If you gain a lot of weight that AR may become a Howitzer... Remember X-Men Origins:Wolverine and Blob's Tattoo....Just sayin..

No tats here, although I am tempted. I feel like it is wise to be able to cover them if needed, most people judge books by their cover, no matter how much they use the saying.
I like the saying, but how would a Spartan sword look? Period correct, it's a glorified knife, keeps your right-wing extremist personality in the dark (unless you find someone who can read greek), not as dirty looks at the airport, school, daycare, etc.
Maybe a large silouette of the sword with the words inside.

I have 6 right now, but my last one covered 2 previous ones. I made the decision when I got my first, nothing below the elbow or above the collarline. But that's my decision, about placement. I already have my next 5 in mind. ;)

Reason: clarification
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do. Eleanor Roosevelt

So your face is a blank canvas waiting for ink, huh?
